DMM/DMU offers a number of classes, workshops and breakout sessions to choose from each hour, so we designed a system to help you navigate your way through the weekend. While you're free to attend any class, we have included some of the key classes in a well-rounded curriculum. By following these tracks, you will be equipped with the tools to target areas of growth in your own personal ministry, whether you're a first-time delegate or a seasoned veteran.

WORSHIP DIRECTOR TRACK

Learn how to lead worship effectively by developing your ability to lead songs, encourage participation from the congregation, lead praise and worship team, and sing with proper vocal technique. Includes how to choose songs and develop a smooth flowing worship service while releasing the congregation into spontaneous praise & worship.

MIME TRACKS and SYLLABUS

Our Pantomime workshops will cover everything from basic techniques and simple illustrations to advanced choreography using acrobatics, gymnastics, and body isolation's. Delegates will have the chance to participate in the “America’s Top Ten Dance Ministries” Pre-Show Awards Showcase!

VOCAL TRACKS and SYLLLABUS

This track begins with a thorough warm up, using breathing and relaxation to explore the physical apparatus that is our singing instrument, and finding the most natural and efficient way to use that instrument. Exercises combining vocal and physical activities follow, as students begin to join their voices into a group sound. Discover, explore, and expand your voice range. Learn to use your voice correctly and sing a variety of classical, praise ,worship, rap and jazz repertoires.  There are 4 divisions covering composition and listening skills. This workshop is designed to take vocalists to new heights in their vocal gifts in multiple ares from increasing  range to understanding how to flow in the Holy Spirit freely. Develop poise, vocal clarity, power, projection and resonance. “When God Steps In” inspire, motivate and captivate an audience of 1 or 1000.

MUSICIANS TRACKS and SYLLABUS

Learn basic tips and techniques to increase your ability on your musical instrument. Classes will be offered in guitar, bass, drums, percussion & keyboards. These hands-on sessions will focus on the role of each instrument. Learn how to play during praise and worship service, concerts, or any special event. All musician will have the opportunity to participate in the evening general sessions.

INSTRUMENTS IN WORSHIP/DANCE TRACKS and SYLLABUS

Beginning clinics will cover introductory movements with instruments. There are individual workshops for flags, tambourine, billows, streamers and scarves.  This track includes Intermediate and advanced workshops. Learn how to use these instruments in praise and worship. We will even cover prophetic movements! Gain and understanding of what their uses are in the church.

DANCE TRACKS and SYLLABUS

This track is an introduction to the use of dance in worship covering simple movements that can be used during personal worship times and in corporate settings. Workshops will cover intermediate and advanced dance choreography used in creatively interpreting songs in rehearsed dance pieces for the opening of “America’s Top Ten Dance Ministries”.

Children Dance Tracks & Symposium (Ages 3-11)

Directed by Youth Pastors(WHEM) and Pastor Casey Eggleston (New Birth), the children's symposium will feature worship times and Bible sessions taught by Symposium faculty. Children will have a choice of interactive electives such as mime, dance, flags, hand signing, choir & singing, tambourines and art. They will learn 2 choreographed routines for the evening worship sessions.

TEEN SYMPOSIUM (Ages 12-18)

This Symposium designed for youth will feature worship sessions and classes specifically geared for teenagers. This program will enable our youth to find purpose and fulfillment in a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We have subjects ranging from peer pressure to abstinence. YOUTH PASTOR AND YOUTH WORKERS TRACKS

CMAF/DMMC equips youth pastors and workers with the tools, support, and experience to fulfill the call God has placed on their lives. Gain an understanding on the needs of teen-agers, their parents, and children. Through our unique program of youth leadership development, you will be able to train countless young people to become powerful witnesses for the Lord. Through our energetic and creative presentations, which focus on assisting churches in developing and/or revamping programs for the development of youth leaders, you and your staff will even learn how to lead teams of teenagers on mission trips .

SIGN LANGUAGE TRACK

CMAF/DMMC Hand Signing Track is designed to effectively teach you American Sign Language (ASL) at a slow pace. The courses focus on conversational ASL and using sign in dance and praise and worship. The courses are perfect for anyone wanting to learn ASL.
